Daniel has been an over the road truck driver for the last 15 years, working for many companies, both good and bad.  He is hard at work providing for his family at this task.  Picking up and Delivering freight for CRST Premier Tranport is very hard work.  He tries to get home often.

Daniel has been in business as an entrepaneur virtually his whole life.  Possessing nothing more than a high school diploma, he has started, sold, and ran such businesses as DKD Enterprises, in Clinton, TN, Lenoir City Taxi and Transportation, in Lenoir City, TN, Owner Operator at Broadway Taxi in Buffalo, NY and Ace Landscaping also in Buffalo, NY.   

Thiscompany was a wide ranging, diversified business with many divisions such as DKD Salvage Freight, Collections, Business Consulting, Home Cleaning and more.  Due to lack of capital, he was forced to close it in 2006.

Future plans include taking the skills learned from this business and applying them to our new trucking business, which may be coming soon.  As soon as we can get enough capital to begin.

There is not much information about where I come from.  I was born in Buffalo, NY, as the second son, third child, to John and Gay Essek, and John was the second son to Victor and Cathrine Essek (Yasig).

Gay Essek, nee. Fisher, was born to Harold and Ruth Fisher of Olean, NY

Victor Essek's father was Jacob Yasig. 

Daniel Essek Makes Bid for US Senate in 2008

 Mr. Daniel Essek hereby announces his run as a Candidate to the United States Senate representing Kentucky in the November 2008 election.  Mr. Essek, running as an Independant Candidate, is concerned with all aspects of the performance of the Government.  He is making this bid for office in an effort to improve the Economy, Defend the Nation, and Provide for the Freedom of the People to pursue their happiness.

Mr. Essek promises to tackle such issues as Repayment of the National Debt, Reform the Current Tax System, Fix our Immigration Problems, and Expanding the Military. 

Mr. Essek expects to accomplish this by sponsoring and co-sponsoring legislation which makes sense, and improves the freedom of the people.  The first issue he plans to tackle is Border Security in which he will make sure the Border Fence is built, the Border Patrol has adequate authority and the posting of the Military upon our Southern Border.

Mr. Essek also supports all efforts to enforce our immigration laws, raise tarriffs on Chinese Goods, implementation of security measures, and testing or scanning of goods entering the Nation.

Mr. Essek Opposes the Diversion of Road Funds, Diversion of Social Security Funds, The Use of Public Funds for Private Endeavors, and Inefficiencies of Government Operations.

Born in Buffalo, NY, I decided to relocate in the Hills of Tennessee.  An opportunity to buy property came in South Whitley County, Kentucky, outside of Jellico, TN and we moved there and I love it here!  Currently I am living in the Great Smokey Mountains.
